Welcome to Cat Call!!

Stories Of Two Extra-Special Kitties In Dire Need of Your Compassion…

Angelina's Angels… If ever a kitty deserved her name, this one is it. Was it an angel that told her to follow those school children home after school one day last spring? Was it an angel that told mom to take a second look as she was about to close the door on just another stray? When she saw Angelina, she knew she had to get her to a vet right away. Angelina had been attacked by a dog. She was covered with bloody bite marks. Her jaw drooped in an odd fashion because she'd been shaken by the throat. Most of her wounds could be easily treated but her broken jaw was going to be another matter. It was going to take time, specialized vet care, surgeries & a lot of healing. Dr. Poulin at Timberlane Animal Hospital & Dr. Hay at Veterinary Surgical Services just couldn't turn her away. Now it was CatCall's turn to save the day. Like others who had helped this Seal Point Siamese mix with the beautiful blue eyes, they couldn't say "no" or turn her away. Angelina would continue to do what she had to do to survive. She wouldn't complain! Never mind that she couldn't open her mouth to eat like the rest of the kitties. She'd eat dry food watered down to a paste. Never mind that she couldn't open her mouth wide enough to eat it out of a bowl. She'd just scoop it up with her paw and lick it off that way. Never mind that she didn't have a home. When she arrived at Bloomingdale Pet Supply, she just acted like she had always been there. Was she guided by an angel? Or, is she an angel? What is it about this kitty that draws out the best in people who never suspect they have so much love to give? So many have helped her, yet Angelina always seems to need another angel. Someday, that special, forever home will come along... Angelina will wait. Until then, many vet bills need to be paid -- and currently nearing $900.
Perhaps Angelina's next angel is YOU!

Sweet Angelina

Felix is a black kitten… which means we must get him up for adoption as soon as possible, as black cats are the least likely to be adopted. His days should be filled with playing, eating, and napping… And they were, until 3 weeks ago; Felix began limping. He was taken to Dr. Poulin and it was discovered that he had sheered off the top half of the ball joint in the right rear hip socket. The bone is just in there causing discomfort. The procedure to remove the bone must be done by a specialist and will cost Cat Call $900-$950. We have to raise the money before we schedule the surgery. Some days, Felix is a regular kitten… & other days, he is in discomfort. We cannot place him up for adoption as-is, due to this expense -- & we need to ensure that the surgery actually gets done.
Felix is getting bigger by the moment, & losing his "cute kitten" window to finding a forever home.
Please consider helping us secure him the surgery he needs!
